I have a 62 mondeo diesel estate with 135k, great car and goes like a dream normally. Couple of weeks ago i had the information (i)light up on the dash. Car was still running good but a couple of days later the orange engine light came on. Phoned the garage and booked it in last Thursday, drove home and the car kept going in and out of limp mode. Problem is it won't start. New battery and will turn over but won't kick into life. Have detached fuel pipes from filter to the engine, no fuel getting to engine but is being returned. Even bypassing this an pouring straight from a funnel to ensure diesel is gettin to engine still nothing. Snap on diagnostic computer finds no faults.
