Yeah, I had made 6 races for people to play as (Charr, Tengu, Human, Norn, Asura, and Golem) I kept to just these because our timeline was closer to GW 1 than GW2. But that's as far as I got. I was working on classes, but I couldn't find the right place to start. I had 14 classes I wanted to design between the 2 games and the spells within 5e 3. penthadix • 6 yr. ago. Personally I've made more humans than other classes. Out of 12 characters. Second would be sylvari or norn. 1. Ferrasper • 6 yr. ago. I can see human/female being the most popular. Personally, I love my salads which is why most of my classes care salads. Actually I would have to add Engineer to the Asurans, as they're hands down the most technologically advanced race in Tyria. Guardian and Ranger would be suitable for the Norns as well. And I might add a magic class for the Charr, I remember in GW1 fighting alot of Charr elementalists and necromancers. Lots of Charr rangers too. The Races of Tyria Create and customize your character from the five main races of Tyria: noble humans, valiant norn, ferocious charr, ingenious asura, or mysterious sylvari. Asura Diminutive Mystical Scientists While small in stature, the asura are intellectual giants. Warriors are masters of weaponry who rely on speed, strength, toughness, and heavy armor to survive in battle. Adrenaline fuels their offensive power—the longer warriors stay in a fight, the more dangerous they become. When any other race tames a wolf, it's tuesday, but when an Asura tames a wolf it is an epic triumph over a monstrous beast. Female Norn Mesmer. Most people make their mesmers waifish and small, but IMO it is a lot more interesting to have the mysterious illusionist be an impossibly large woman. Of course, just explaining that while a race will never truly be superior, in some extremely niche uses currently humans are generally the best (though Sylvari win for condi players) 1. r/Guildwars2. They probably will in one capacity or another. To be honest every class seems to have a decent mix of complicated and uncomplicated classes. There's the Ele Piano meme but Catalyst is far less crazy than other eles from what I'm hearing from friends (though they are bias'd). Besides Mirages are still insanely good and Chronos aren't half bad. .
