The S1000XR and the 1290SA. Both fulfill my requirements regarding ergos and power. Both have advantages and disadvantages obviously. I've ridden both for about 30 minutes each. My riding is 80% commuting and 20% are trips up and down the Westcoast (1200-1800 miles per trip). Here's my pro and con list. KTM 1290SA.
